Cancellation policy

Last updated: July 2026

Each tour listing includes a cancellation policy chosen by the partner. Refunds apply to the total amount paid (including the Toursby service fee) when payment has been received and held in escrow or already released. Unpaid bookings can be cancelled without charge before the payment deadline expires.

Policy types

Flexible

  • 100% refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure.
  • No refund if you cancel within 24 hours of departure.

Moderate (default)

  • 100% refund if you cancel 5 or more days before departure.
  • 50% refund if you cancel 2–4 days before departure.
  • No refund if you cancel less than 2 days before departure.

Strict

  • 100% refund if you cancel 14 or more days before departure.
  • 50% refund if you cancel 7–13 days before departure.
  • No refund if you cancel less than 7 days before departure.

How refunds are processed

  1. Cancel from your trip dashboard or contact support if you need assistance.
  2. Eligible refunds are marked pending until reviewed by Toursby operations.
  3. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method or bank transfer within the stated processing window.

Partner cancellations

If a partner cancels a confirmed booking, the traveler receives a full refund of the amount paid. Partners should propose alternative dates when possible before cancelling.

Weather, safety, and force majeure

When local conditions make a tour unsafe or impossible, partners should reschedule or offer a fair alternative. Contact Toursby support early if you need mediation. We review message history and escrow status when deciding outcomes.

Disputes

If you believe a tour was not delivered as described, you may open a dispute after departure for paid bookings. Funds remain frozen until the case is resolved. See our Terms and conditions.
